Brought this to our Saturday coffee hour and we literally did not leave for two more hours. Someone's auntie was crying laughing, I can't explain it.
BEREKA GAMES
Conversation driven games that preserve language, spark conversation, and bring people together.
Play. Learn. Connect.
In the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, “bereka” is the third round of coffee. It’s the cup that’s more diluted, but the one people stay for. Bereka Games builds on that idea by creating conversation driven games that bring people together, helping them connect, share stories, and naturally pick up language and culture through play.
Every card is written in Amharic - not
translated, but crafted from the ground up to feel native.
The jokes, references, and social dynamics aren't borrowed from Western formats. They're Ethiopian.
Games built from lived experience - the moments, debates, and cultural nuances that define us.

It was fun to play this game with my family as they understood the language and humor more
We played Bereka’s Buna Qurs at my sister's bridal shower and it brought people together 10/10.
Honestly thought it was gonna be corny but my whole friend group was locked in for like 2 hours straight. Buy it.
The questions hit different when you're actually sitting around with people you love. Felt like a real buna conversation, not just a game.
Took it to a community event not knowing if people would be into it, but ended up being so engaging! People were asking where to buy it before we even finished.
